Erica Hansen

Erica sees her role as a Family Court lawyer as being one of the cogs in the wheel, where everyone works together to find a resolution.  She enjoys working with other lawyers, accountants, psychologists, social workers to help the families that have come to Till Henderson for legal assistance.  Erica joined Till Henderson King in January 2003 as a Law Clerk before she graduated in 2003 from Otago University with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts majoring in psychology.

Erica has some commercial law experience involving companies and family trusts, and that knowledge assists her family law clients, particularly with relationship property. Erica's practice ranges from assisting clients with parenting orders, domestic violence, relationship property, paternity, and child support.

Erica enjoys dealing face to face with people, and volunteers both for the Taranaki Community Law Centre and Citizens Advice Bureau.  Erica plays in and organises the Till Henderson Netball team, plays squash, is a member of the New Plymouth Tramping Club and likes tramping with her friends.  Erica's creative flare is seen designing art and craft, or pursuing her interest in music playing the piano or flute.
